Greenfuse Energy Company, LLC (Greenfuse) provides a variety of services in support of healthier, cost-effective, and high performance buildings.

Typically, Greenfuse clients are building or site owners, developers, architects, builders, and governmental agencies. Services include assisting them to determine green building methods appropriate for their projects and integrating technologies, methods, and processes that go beyond standard practice. Often our clients are seeking LEED certification for their projects or wish to use a U.S. Green Building Council LEED rating system as a guideline.

Greenfuse also works with local government bodies to modify policies consistent with green building practices, thereby reducing the cost of infrastructure and saving water and energy. Greenfuse team members, as well as our technical experts, are educators at heart. We enjoy teaching others by offering educational sessions for company decision makers, business leaders, governmental agencies, and college students.

Greenfuse's work is designed to lead commercial, institutional, educational, and residential developments toward a more profitable and eco-effective future.

TECHNICAL EXPERTS

Depending on the client's needs, Greenfuse may recommend expanding its in-company capabilities through a collaboration with one or more technical experts who provide specialized skills in areas such as: mechanical engineering (HVAC), architectural and lighting design, energy, water/wastewater, as well as specific technologies.

Greenfuse's expertise includes identifying technical experts who are leaders in their respective fields and have the ability to work together to develop integrated, sustainable solutions that are cost-effective and creative. Such synergies among disciplines and technologies offer significant benefits over traditional working relationships.

SUSTAINABILITY

We passionately support the principle of sustainability, which asks us to help meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future to meet its own needs.

ECO-EFFECTIVENESS

We believe it is not good enough to just be "eco-efficient" - seeking ways to recycle, reuse and reduce. Although minimizing waste, pollution, and natural resources is important, Greenfuse is dedicated to the principle of "eco-effectiveness" as defined by architect William McDonough.

We believe that in order to achieve a healthy future, we need to take a whole-systems approach today. Through an in-depth understanding of clients' needs, we help them to develop new perspectives that inspire the elimination of wasteful behaviors, and steer them in the direction of new practices that nurture both their livelihood and the environment.

Examples of eco-effective solutions include installing green roofs planted with a layer of vegetation to reduce energy use in the building and lessen run-off water; or sending stormwater from a building through a series of wetlands created near the building thereby purifying the water before it reaches a nearby stream or river.
