Recently, the Monterey Bay Electric Vehicle Alliance held a workshop for building and planning officials, local auto dealers, IBEW Local 234 and others interested in streamlining the permit process for residential EV charging stations. The workshop was funded by a grant that the Greater Bay Area EV Corridor received and generously offered our region. MBEVA is working together with others in the state to create an easy and speedy process so that EV owners can charge their vehicles at home as easily as we now fuel up at gas stations.
