Our Monterey Bay Plug-In Electric Vehicle Alliance is making great progress. As part of our initiative to be recognized as an electric vehicle friendly region, we visited the Green Vehicles facility in San Jose recently to see their three electric vehicles offerings. Our photo shows the Triac (www.greenvehicles.com) which has a top speed of 80 mph and 100 mile range for about $25,000. They also produce the Moose, a NEV classified van and the Buckshot, a ½ ton pickup with 55 mph top speed and a 85-mile range. It has a options such as lockable surfboard hard case and bike rack.
