Greenfuse provides a variety of services in support of healthy, cost-effective, and high performance buildings.

GREEN BUILDING/LEED SUPPORT

  1. Serve as LEED Accredited Professional for projects seeking USGBC LEED certification or those that want to build according to LEED principles.
    • Determine green methods, technologies, and policies.
    • Train contractors regarding LEED requirements.
    • Work with team to provide information for LEED documents.
    • Facilitate team problem-solving sessions to find innovative solutions.

  2. Assist building owners and their teams to integrate green building methods into their projects to comply with local jurisdictions green building requirements, such as the City of Santa Cruz's ordinance or governing body guidelines.

  3. Facilitate company/organization leadership teams to determine their green building goals for their projects, and work with them to integrate green methods based on these goals.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We assemble teams of technical experts who look at our clients' needs through a "sustainable lens." We focus on saving financial and environmental capital, re-using available resources, and creating net positive environmental impacts.

GREEN BUILDING FUNDING RESEARCH

Identify funding available from utilities, incentive programs, grants, low-interest loan programs to support full implementation of recommendations.

GREEN BUILDING POLICY DEVELOPMENt

Work with governmental and non-governmental organizations to develop policies, reflecting green building goals, including water, energy and emissions.

COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAM

Establish outreach methods to communicate with appropriate client stakeholders, such as employees, residents, general public.

SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING

Greenfuse, in collaboration with SustainabilityWorks offers Sustainability Reporting Workshops for leaders of business and non-profit organizations, consultants, government representatives, policy analysts, economists, activists, and others interested in furthering social responsibility and environmental stewardship as well as sound fiscal management in organizations.

ADVOCACY

Manage advocacy campaigns related to green building, including water and energy policies, processes and products. Organize presentations and testify at hearings. Deliver conference presentations and facilitate sessions.
